Monaro Livestock & Property (MLP) is a locally-owned family business, servicing the livestock and property needs of their clients throughout the Monaro in south-eastern NSW. Established by Will and Vanessa Dixon, MLP is a dominant player in the livestock market with a proven track record for solid prices and good yardings. This success is built on Will and Vanessa’s passion for the industry and Will’s lifelong association with the Monaro and its highly regarded stock.

Will and Vanessa Dixon established Monaro Livestock & Property (MLP) in 2011, on the back of the strong reputation they had built in the area with their extensive knowledge of livestock and the market. MLP has quickly cemented itself as one of the market-leading agencies in the region, with a strong presence at local livestock selling centres and solid relationships forged with feedlots and processors. Offering a range of marketing options and an honest approach to business, MLP strives to achieve the best result for their clients.
WILL DIXON
Livestock Agent
Will has a lifelong association with the Monaro, having grown up on a sheep property near Adaminaby and working locally as a stock agent for more than ten years. Will is well-known on the Monaro for his keen eye for sheep and cattle, and is an effective licensed auctioneer and Auctionsplus assessor.
With his honest approach and passion for the industry, Will has developed a strong rapport with his clients, as well as key buyers at feedlots and abattoirs. Will holds an Associate Diploma in Farm Management from Orange Agricultural College and is a licensed real estate and stock and station agent.

VANESSA DIXON
Administration/Accounts
Vanessa has extensive experience in administration and accounts, having worked in this discipline in various businesses, including a local stock and station agency before establishing MLP with Will. Under Vanessa’s meticulous eye the MLP office has the latest agency software and systems and with these streamlined processes in place, MLP clients can be assured of quality service and efficient payment processing.
With an understanding of the industry and true passion for the region, Vanessa enjoys working with MLP clients to achieve the best possible results.

JIM PARKES
Livestock Agent
Jim has lived and worked in the Bombala/Delegate region his entire life. He has witnessed the ever-changing ups and downs
of the Monaro seasons and the markets that come with it.
With 34 years full-time service in the livestock industry, Jim's seasonal knowledge of livestock markets is second to none. He also has long standing relationships with feedlots, sheep and cattle abattoirs, as well as many cattle & sheep buyers.
Retired
Jim officially retired in January 2019.
We wish Jim well in his retirement and thank him for his years of contribution and support to MLP and clients.
